Volunteer Action – Our Mission Statement

• Goal: Volunteer Action aims to maintain the independence and improve the quality of life for people aged 65 and over and those registered disabled within the East North Northamptonshire community.

• Community Focus: Our emphasis is making an impact on those in the community by providing the opportunity to volunteer to improve the lives of rurally isolated people.

• Services Provided: The Charity offers a Community Car Scheme, Befriending Schemes, Social Activities and other Services tailored to residents’ needs, helping these individuals to live more independently and with a better quality of life.

Living in Oundle, Thrapston and the surrounding villages of North East Northamptonshire is very special. Volunteer Action is a local charity supporting local residents who may be elderly, unwell, or have disabilities. By providing services to these valuable members of the community, our aim is to maintain independence and improve the quality of their lives.
